Vale de Ferreiros Equestrian Center is one of the few private Equestrian Centers in Portugal certified by the Portuguese Equestrian Federation to hold national and international sporting events at its highest level. There is an annual schedule of a set of Dressage and Show Jumping events. It is important to emphasize the CDI3* held at Vale de Ferreiros for the last 3 years. It is one of 3 events part of "Rota Lusitana", a 3* international Dressage route organized as a partnership with the state owned Alter Stud Farm and Companhia das Lezírias. In 2019, this international route will allow participants to qualify for the European Championships and for the Olympic Games to be held in Tokyo. This is certainly an opportunity to see Dressage with Lusitano Horses at its highest level.
